Stephany is great! She is always available when we needed her, and worked really hard to negotiate exactly what we wanted. She is very flexible, honest, and worked hard to find a house that was perfect for what we were looking for. She has a very friendly demeanor and is easy to talk to, and great explaining every step of what can be a very confusing (and overwhelming) process. We are (were!!) first time home buyers, and Stephany's guidance and patience truly helped make the process enjoyable. OK, let's be honest, it was stressful too, but not because of Stephany. Stephany came to us by recommendation, and it was easy to see why. She was always very responsive when we reached out, answered our questions with patience and experience, and let her sense of humor shine though. There was one house we went under contract on, but unfortunately discovered some significant issues with during the inspection. We attempted to negotiate with the sellers over what turned into a few weeks, and Stephany's responsiveness and negotiation skills were extremely helpful and much appreciated. Her advice was always on point and we never second guessed any of her guidance. Obviously, the story ends well with a closing on a home that was an even better fit for us, but we know that walking away from that first contract was the right decision for us, and Stephany had nothing but our best interest at heart. She was a real superstar in negotiations, and we made our best effort together. She must have seen over 50 houses with us, but each one seemed like it was the first one she took us to see. We had a lot of great laughs with her as we saw some truly wild and baffling things, and it made the process all the more enjoyable. We were referred to Stephany by our mortgage officer. It was late in the season and we were considering waiting for spring to buy when a house of interest came on the market. When I spoke to Stephany I advised her that if we didn't put an offer on the house we would likely wait for better weather. We didn't make an offer and Stephany was very professional. I apologized for wasting her time and she was incredibly understanding. The next spring she reached out to see if we were ready and we were! She showed us MANY homes in our desired neighborhood but we couldn't find 'the one'. Stephany was determined and ultimately suggested that we expand our search to other towns. We scheduled some showings in other areas just as a house listed that we thought might work. The seller had multiple offers and we were unable to see the house before the end of the offer review so we put in an offer sight unseen! Multiple offers fell through on the house and suddenly were under contract! When we finally saw the house, it was more work than we anticipated, but pretty close to what we wanted. We decided to keep our scheduled showings in another town and the very first house we visited was 'the one'. Stephany guided us through the cancellation of the first contract, negotiating and winning a contract on our current home, and all the inspections, requests, and financial dealings with poise and urgency. I was a first time homebuyer and my parents and I decided against using our old realtor that we had known for over 30 years due to personal issues and my mom found Stephany from a Redfin post. I could not be more grateful for that post. I was so unsure of the things I wanted and desired in a house but Stephany took me to a million houses (ok not literally but it sure felt like it some days) to help me explore what I like/dislike versus what is an absolute must have vs can live without. Stephany is the epitome of professionalism. She was kind and thoughtful as she navigated us through the home buying process. We had our minds set on where we wanted to live, but the housing stock was not meeting our expectations. She gently encouraged us to look in a different location. Did above and beyond what is necessary for an agent.
